We provide cutting-edge automotive software and critical embedded technology.
APTJ was established in 2015 as a startup specializing in developing software platforms for vehicle control systems, with close ties to Nagoya University, a Japanese national university.
Over the years, I have been conducting a study on vehicle software platforms at Nagoya University’s Center for Embedded Computing Systems in collaboration with the automotive industry. APTJ’s first mission is to develop and distribute a commercial software platform based on this study.
APTJ aims to develop an AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) based software platform in partnership with auto parts manufacturers. The development period is scheduled to be 2-3 years; however, we plan to distribute licenses in module terms upon individual completion, worldwide.
Our future ambition is to become one of the world’s leading software platform developer/distributor for vehicle control systems. To achieve this goal, we plan to develop a software platform based on the new AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform, which is an optimal standardized software framework currently being developed by AUTOSAR for new applications such as autonomous driving, and to enhance security in response to the growing market for the Internet of Things and Connected Vehicles.
