APTJ has joined the Japan Automotive ISAC

APTJ has joined Japan Automotive ISAC (Japan Automotive Information Sharing and Analysis Center, abbreviated J-Auto-ISAC) as of April , 2021.

J-Auto-ISAC is a general incorporated association that promotes information sharing and analysis of cyber security risks in Japan and enhancement of cyber security response capabilities across the industry.

From the standpoint of a BSW*1 vendor, we will strengthen our collaboration with a wide range of industries, including automotive companies, parts suppliers, and various research institutes, with the aim of developing a robust software platform for automotive control systems against cyber security risks and providing related services.

”Julinar” has been adopted for the EPS of Nissan’s new ‘Rogue’.

The AUTOSAR conformant software platform “Julinar®”  *1, which is being developed and sold by APTJ Corporation, has been adopted for EPS *2 developed by JTEKT Corporation.
This EPS will be installed in the new Nissan “Rogue” *3 for North America, which will go on sale in October 2020.

Among the basic functions of a vehicle such as driving, turning, and stopping, EPS is an important system for “turning”.
For this reason, EPS needs to be highly safe and reliable.
In the development of the software for the EPS, both companies worked closely together, taking advantage of JTEKT’s expertise in functional safety and APTJ’s expertise in software platforms.

As a result, JTEKT and APTJ were able to commercialize the software by efficiently solving implementation issues such as meeting high safety requirements, smooth integration with other modules, and reduction of overhead time.

APTJ participated in the ET2019 exhibition

From November 20 to 22, APTJ participated in Embedded Technology 2019 (ET2019), a major technology exhibition held in Japan.
More than 20,000 visitors attended the event. At our booth this year, we presented a CAN communication demo using our newly joined security stack and was blessed with the opportunity to directly introduce our AUTOSAR conformant software platform Julinar® SPF.
We also held a press conference to announce the collaboration with Wind River Co., Ltd. to develop an in-vehicle software platform that integrates virtualization technology.

APTJ and Wind River collaborate to develop AUTOSAR based virtualization platform

APTJ today announced that it has formed a business alliance with Wind River Co., Ltd.  for the joint development and sales of automotive software platforms using virtualization technology. Wind River is a world’s leading software company for intelligent connected systems.

APTJ and Wind River plans to develop an automotive software platform that can be implemented to virtualized environments by combining APTJ’s AUTOSAR Classic Platform “Julinar®”, Wind River’s virtualization platform “Wind River Helix Virtualization Platform®”, and real-time OS “VxWorks®”. Together, they aim to introduce the automotive industry flexible, reliable, and secure software platforms  to support future services.

APTJ announces new partnership with OpenSynergy

APTJ today announced its partnership with the German company OpenSynergy GmbH for the sales of APTJ’s AUTOSAR Classic solution “Julinar® SPF”. OpenSynergy will act as a secondary distributor while APTJ’s partner software firms (see Our Business Model)  will continue to sell and provide support services as well. In the future, they aim to combine APTJ’s AUTOSAR technologies and OpenSynergy’s  virtualization technologies to deliver next generation in-vehicle software platforms.

OpenSynergy is a leading provider of embedded software solutions for next generation vehicles. OpenSynergy’s virtualization platform “COQOS Hypervisor SDK” supports freedom from interference between systems, enabling the convergence of functions with different levels of safety and security requirements on a Soc.
